Catia V4 & Catia V5 communication

I installed hummingbird to communicate Catia V4(Unix) & Catia V5(Windows)(both the systems are in a network) but don't know how to trasnfer/import from Catia V4 to Catia V5?
(I was using FTP for differnt machines before but not sure how does hummingbird works?)
If anyone know, please let me know.

Hi,

As far as I know, the easiest way is to use migration utility from v5 (Tools>Utility...).

You can also open directly your files in v5, even if they are not migrated.

The only problem I know, is that sometimes, when you copy directly a file from UNIX to Windows, its possible to have some strange characters which are not recognized by Windows.

If you will delete those characters, everything will be fine.
