Anyone can help me if it is required transfer the material markings (heat number & Material Grade) or perform any material traceability to the nonpressure parts if welded to a pressure part designed by ASME code Section I?

The Section VIII-div1 for me is very clear, I'm interpreting is not required for nonpressure parts.

it would be good practice to know for future maintenance and/or replacement of the non-pressure parts/materials.

besides, you need to know what welding procedure to use so you need to know both materials any way.

lgracio;
Yes, you need to have some form of traceability for nonpressure part material. All Section I requires is that the carbon content is less than 0.35% by mass. So, if you have a certificate of conformance that can indicate the nonpressure part material is ..... low carbon steel or low alloy or whatever.

Always a conflict in Sect I, lift lugs and other direct attachments to pressure parts have to be of Sec I approved materials and to prove it you will have to have documentation, I do not see it any other way.
