Hi NXiens, NXiennes
Under NX 9.0.3.5
I am creating a "Master drawing" and want to put as much as possible automation in it.
All is almost OK, when my assembly is changing, most of the dimensions and notes are well placed.
But I am facing a problem with the "Break-Out Section view".
The "boundary" you need to create it can't be a model curve.
You have to define the contour in the view sketch and then it's selectable.
So, when my tube is expanding, the boundary stay at his place and doesn't follow the threaded hole it's supposed to show.
I had the idea then to sketch this boundary spline within the assembly model itself.
It's constrain to follow 3D geometry. Fine.
Then in my view sketch, I am able to "project" it but this project is non-associative :-(
If I want to use "Add existing curves" as they are in the same plane, I can't select my spline.
All ideas are welcome.
Thank you for reading.
