I receive a message that says "Error Reading database table CA" when I try to use the beam calculator Whats Wrong?

I have run accross this a few times where a system administrator or a user has inadvertantly changed the file properties of the database files under toolbox to read only.

Open Widows explorer and navigate to the Program Files/Solidworks/Toolbox/Lang/English folder and set all of the mdb files in there so that they are not read-only.

If you have the ansiinch.mdb set as read-only you will see the following error messages with:

Beam calculator - "Error Reading database table CA"
Bearing Calculator - "Error Reading database table IBB"
Structural Steel - "Error Reading database table CA"
Grooves - "Error Reading Groove Table"

Changing the read-only property on the ansiinch.mdb will fix the problem.
