    Yes...project your section view and make it active. right click on the view border..in the drop down list select the view name then select overload properties..when the characteristics box opens up, select the part in the view and it will list it. Highlight the part name and select...

    We are just getting our catia V5R20 set up...when I create a product of two parts then want to project one edge of one of the parts to the sketch of the 2nd part it will not select the edge (I have done this millions of times at other companies)..all i get is the minus sign with the black...
