We have to bring a lot of files into Catia from NX (I am the only NX guy here). The "select all" option strips off any naming conventions and out puts it as a generic .STP file. The "entire part" selection out puts it as modeled but doesn't always translate.

Yes you are right John a mirror function probably doesn't belong under "move" but mirror component Or mirror assembly does not work for mirroring a single or group of individual surfaces when building sheet body's. That transform/mirror command has been a useful tool for me for the past 20+...

You cannot mirror geometry in move also which is a pain.

Requires an advanced sheet metal license, so i am out of luck. But thanks for your imput.

Never used metaform before,but yes this is exactly what i'm trying to do Khimani. Does this require a different or additional license?

Hi everybody, New to the forum. I am running NX8.0.3.4 I am looking for the best way to layout trim without having to make a boat load of sections and "hand build it". I do not have the die package that i know has some help in this area. Thanks in advance.
