thanks a lot for your kind response, i asked my question because some times when i check drift from show tables>>>show drift i got non-logical answers for drift from etabs specially when i have extension of some columns in roof floor. i will check this method that you mention in your answer . thanks

Dear experts, i want to know how to check drift results using dynamic analysis ( response spectrum analysis ) , the traditional method that going to show tables in etabs and select show drift then see the drift in RSA in x or y direction will not work because (as i think ) etabs calculates...

thanks guys for your response :) , but what i mean is link text box in excel sheet to specific cell in the same sheet,because i have complicated geometry in the excel sheet and i intend to but the text box at each side of that shape so the user can easily write the value without any confusion...

dear experts , i want to link text box with cell in order to make the cell read the numerical values from the text box to use this value in the sheet equations, thanks in advance
