    If Mac does have a lower() function... I'm not familiar with it but will check it out. thanks.

    I have tried the "Aa" button but it only works if you have typed in lower case and want to convert to Caps... not the other way round and i find what usually happens is i type away forgetting the caps lock is on then have to re-type... Thanks anyway.

    Can anyone tell me how to change a sentence in caps to lower case without retyping the whole thing... i have tried a few things on an earlier thread i read here however none worked and i wonder if this is because i am using word for mac.
