● Client has advised Max FLC = 450 Amps per Phase ( I assume this is @ 400 kW )

Load will be a 400 kW Electric Motor with VFD Driving a Water Pump.
690V Motor - Full Load = 450 Amps per Phase.
● Case 1 - Power Draw 347 kW ( 1018 rpm )
● Case 2 - Power Draw 370 kW ( 1025 rpm )
● Case - Power Draw 395 kW ( 1034 rpm )

We have seen a couple of Broken Pump Shafts ( Stainless Steel ) on Diesel Driven ISO PumpEnds.
These are coupled via a 'Close Coupling' arrangement ( ie. Direct Pre-Load Bearing Adaptor with Muff Coupling between Pump & Engine ).

We are Building a Diesel Engine Driven Water Pump System that includes a Vscuum Priming Kit.
The Unit needs Remote Start/Stop & Telemetry.
We have fitted a Centrifugal Clutch to disengage Water Pump for first 5 minutes so Water Pump can be Primed before engagement.

It is a bit of a strange looking Coupling arrangement- this came from supplier and it seems they use a Rotor with Keyed Shaft (possibly from the 2 Bearing Bare Shaft version) and provide SAE Discs for Direct Couple to Engine Flywheel/Housing.

Generator Set Rated 30 kVA 1 Phase 240V 50Hz [ Max FLC = 120A ].
Engine Direct Coupled SAE 3/11.5 to a 4 Pole AVR Control AC Generator [ connected Delta Config 60 kVA 3 Ph 36 kVA 1 Ph ].
2x Schneider XW 48VDC Inverters + Schneider Regulator 8600 DC Coupled.

Torque is no doubt a key ingredient in the failure but can it be explained how the Process unfolds leading up to the sheared bolts.
