Hello, would anyone be able to help me figure out the correct groove, piston rod and bore diameters to suit a 112 quad ring?
I've checked these recommended diameter charts for dynamic use O rings from Parker and All Rings but they all give me different diameters, see below.

If the piston were designed like this were fluid can flow into the slot between the two seals, would the piston be able to move up or down?
Hello, apologies for the late reply, are you saying that the bottom of the piston would be pushed upwards with a force of 14.7 PSI if the bottom side is vented to the atmosphere?
If the bottom side wasn't vented, would the force be greater or less? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Could the weight of a piston prevent itself from lifting up in a lower pressure area? The weight of the piston is about 240 grams.
