    Has anyone taken the P.E civil- structural this Oct, and passed. How many hours did you study for per week? Any practice tests for the structural test? Also, is it worth paying for the PPI exam café- are the questions close enough to the test for the AM and PM portion.

    I am reviewing a repair detail for holes that was drilled through 2x10 wood floor joists, spanning 14', 16"o.c spacing. Hole that was drilled is approximately 4" in diameter and I think at the center of the joist. The repair detail shows 2"x2" SYP fastened to top and bottom of 2x10 floor joists...
