I am not sure if there is a way of interpreting the "Find Contact Pairs" command button in the GUI of ABAQUS into a command line in python, I need the machine to find all possible surfaces in contact with each other and name them according to the materials of the parts the surfaces in contact...

I have found out the missing part...I was defining the the interaction module via a python script in which by mistake, I defined the section of the connectors prior to defining the discrete fastener. By rearranging the code every thing works fine now except for the connector failure...
