    NX2312 Swept twisting issue

You can break the section curves down to 2 curves instead of one, i.e. 2 arcs instead of a circle.

    Dialog Boxes, Pausing randomly

It doesn't happen on exiting the dialogue box, but it seems like the measurement function does lock up my computer for a minute or so maybe 10% of the time. Haven't really noticed any other hang ups. NX1953.

New Sketcher vs the old Sketcher

I will cling to the old sketcher as long as possible, then probably retire. I've been a NX fanboy for decades, not so much with the new sketcher.

Using if expressions for creating law curves

    Looks like it works.

Using if expressions for creating law curves

In the camber line equation in pic #3, what do p, t, m, and c represent?

    CENTERLINE FROM A TUBE BODY

Actually, Isoparametric does work, I just forgot to set it for U and V.

    CENTERLINE FROM A TUBE BODY

I used the edges to create a ruled sheet body but isoparametric curves didn't work. Instead, I used Offset in Face to offset one edge of the ruled body half the face width, then created a tube that essentially matches your original. Part file also attached.

    CENTERLINE FROM A TUBE BODY

I downloaded a STEP file of a spring and used the ruled surface/isoparametric curve approach to recreate the centerline. I used the isoparametric curve to recreate the tube and it seems to work. I tried to create a Tube Centerline using both faces of the tube but it failed. Tube Centerline does...

    CENTERLINE FROM A TUBE BODY

Tried to open the file but found no geometry. 2.2KB is pretty small for a STEP file.

    CENTERLINE FROM A TUBE BODY

Does the edge that runs lengthwise on the tube have a diametrically opposed counterpart? If it does, it might be worth a shot to create a ruled surface between them then create an isoparametric curve on that surface to determine the centerline.

hello everyone, can you help me how

You could try Synchronous Modeling "Offset Region" and select all the faces except the blends into the main body.

    Creating wire fencing using NX

    Another version.https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=7fe4612e-f5d6-45bf-84f8-200808c2f889&file=wire_panel_2.prt

    Creating wire fencing using NX

Sounded interesting so I built this. You can use length and width to make an oversize panel and trim to size.https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=e4a7a12d-f0f4-4a2d-acec-967c80132282&file=wire_panel_1.prt

Can this be done in NX? And if so, how?

I need to maintain contact between the two blue surfaces and the yellow surface as the green component is rotated/translated. I've tried multiple combinations of touch/align/angle but it always ends up either being outright over-constrained or prevents dynamic movement. I would like the...

    law curve from equation

I usually change the dimensionality to "Unitless" when whenever I am using equations. This prevents mixing angles with lengths and length x length turning into areas.
