    Buckling with continuum elements?

    Hello, does anyone know, if abaqus calculates buckling when i simulate a fem-analysis of framwork structures not with beam elements but with coninuum elements e.g. tet Elements? Thanks!

    Too stiff model (merging???)

    Hey, i'm am having the same problem. I am also modeling beam which i merged before. Everything seems to be fine but the construction is far too stiff! do you have any suggestions for me how i could proceed? @human123 how did you solve your problem Thanks!
