I am working on welding simulation for cold crack prediction in the welding of molybdenum. It is a thermomechanical simulation, and cracks develop when the Principal Stress stress exceeds the critical stress, especially in the cooling step when the temperature drops to room temperature...
e.g. workpiece is clamped in welding or AM process at the end of simulation I want to remove clamp but dont want to allow rigid body motion due to high temperature. four spring at corners may help to achieve this but I could not realize a spring boundary condition.
I am using DFLUX subroutine in ABAQUS for moving laser heat source in AM simulation. One track is successfully simulated with heat source but when ever I tried for multi track with TIME(2) it does not work. Need urgent guidance. Thank you
