How to create a datum plane on a point, normal to a curve and with the orientation to curve parallel to X axis.
Using a recorded journal is not an option, is just way to much information and I can sort through it and make it work...
Hi, Does anyone know how to get back the colours of a model in the assembly.
the part itself has each solid body with different colours, but in the assembly I gave the part one colour. How you I have back the part colours inside the assembly.

Got It,
NX9 now has the option to bring all the expression from other parts into the expressions of the main assembly File.
It even gives you the option to add prefix or suffix to the expressions name.

I have an assembly with different parts, each part has a lot of expressions, manly all expression values are measurements, so they don't drive anything.
Can I bring all these values from each part into the spreadsheet of the parent assembly file?

When you first start NX and you don't have any file open there is a help/tips/whats new screen, before I had the option to turn it off after a few days but now I haven't had that option. Or maybe I had and I ignored it.

Hello, I'm having a go at setting environmental variables and start up scripts to set the templates on a server.
So I created a templates folder on the server, created the templates and changed the .pax files to suit.
Then I copy pasted the ugii_env.dat file to the server and added this line...
