if some body has experience in bored piles share his information.
if we have variable soil layers (cohesive & non cohesive) how we calculate critical depth in each pile?

The punching shear analysis shall be performed for each and every structure within the limits of the area of concern. It shall take into account the actual measured strength properties of the proposed fill material.
Two boring by 30 meters depth have been drilled in footprint of building. Predominate of soil is clayey soil from surface down to 30 m.
The building include of 20 floors, 6 meters excavation.
The choose of foundation type, Mat or Pile foundation, which one is better for this building.
