    Nesting CAD Profiles in Inventor

Thank you for your reply. Precisely that is what I am looking for. Is that possible in Inventor or any other Autodesk products?

    Extracting Coordinates from a curve

Thanks everyone for your valuable responses. Yes definitely the list command would work with the UCS placed at the right place, But unfortunately i have something like this to analyze. More finite intervals and moreover i will be getting around 1200 points or coordinates, doing them in a...

    Extracting Coordinates from a curve

Thanks robyengIT,Really useful tool. But that is much suited for image files i guess? And at specified interval gaps that could yield me a approximate value moreover and i am having this curve as a dwg file. Thanks IFRs, Divide and measure command separates the polyline along the line at equal...

Setting of MCS in Nx CAM

Thanks john2025 and joycejo for your replies. Will check out for the option origin between points. But it would have been nice if we have an option to make it move to the centroid if we select a face of the body.

Setting of MCS in Nx CAM

In the procedure for setting the MCS to the block centre of the geometry, Is there a easier way of setting it? As for now i am sketching curves for getting the centre of the block (like constructing diagonals from the block edges) and then i am placing the MCS at the intersecting point...

    Is it possible to automate???

Regarding orientation as similar to cowski mentioned if the part is tilted or something with respect to any axis then the WCS has to be oriented as he said, Before using the stock size command.
