    Slab monolithic with grade beam or raised?

    I need your opining. I can use any of the two options shown but which one would be better? Usually I set the top elevation of the foundation to be 1 ft below the exterior grade but the solution with the monolithic slab seems to much more straightforward.

    asce7-16 roof zone for gable roof with open spaces

    Hello, Using ASCE7-16, what roof zones are applicable to the roof above the open spaces on the sides of the building? Could this part of roof be considered an overhang and use roof overhang zones? Kind, regards.
