Now the next problem(s)
I want to run a macro that opens the newest file in a directory, extract some data from it and save this in a new file with a name that will include some data within the file...

Your pdf is wrong, D should be part of the TP tolerance of the 4.5 hole, top middle of drawing.
I would box the 14.633 dimension, put a boxed dimension to the hole from A on the left hand view and put ABC on the 4.5 dimension, middle top view

Column H increases by 1 each time it sees a number not 0 in column I,

The autofilter works in as far as it shows all the data, what it doesnt do is let me put the data somewhere else.
With the current set of data the 8 numbers not 0 are in rows 113, 256, 1009, etc, this will not be the case with the next set of data.
I am currently playing with vlookup.

I have a spreadsheet which generates a column 5000 rows high, all the numbers in the column are 0, except 8 which are a positive numbers, these numbers could be anywhere within the column.
I need a way to extract these numbers into a table on another tab, then do it again on the next...
