    OK thank you! We normally send it to heat treat and then to the customer.

    Currently we are machining parts prior to heat treat, sending them to heat to treat and then to the customer. Am I mistaken but won't my surface finish change after heat treat? Specifically referencing 12L14 Steel. Appreciate any feedback.
