    MCCB in place of a disconnector

    Dear All, Sometimes when I go to the field, I find that sometimes they have installed MCCB in place of a disconnector to the supply side of a three phase machine. Is it a safe practice or they should install disconnector there and I should point it out as a safety violation ??
