Good day, I am having some troubles started getting a blank screen when booting up once and a while mid summer if I shut down and reboot once or twice it would boot up normal that seems to be a problem every time I shut down the NC controller now so I have been leaving it on it is also taking...
I am thinking I am having some assist gas plumbing issue. The machine was cutting parts I do other work in the shop while it is cutting check up on it every so often. I come back and the machine stopped cutting but was still moving as though it was cutting. i stopped it checked and what appeard...
I messed with some used cones and different things and finally put some 5/8 plate on and WACS cone and cut perfectly, I guess the refurbished cone I received was faulty, something much change when the oxygen is flowing through there, like i mentioned it seemed to work perfectly when the shutter...
I am having the same trouble as FabproHelp, I can cut a part with shutter key off and the z trace off and it seems to work like it is supposed to following the sheet moving up and down, if I stick my finger by the nozzle it will ride up when I take my finger away it goes back down, but when I...
Not sure I thought I pushed refresh but I'm just now seeing your post I did check the screen at machine inlet and the screen in the regulator no improvement after cleaning the screen in the regulator. I will see how soon I can get a regulator or I will try your work around to get this job...
I'm having trouble with my assist gas regulator. I have had my machine for a little over a year and it has sort of been acting this way since I got it but it's getting worse (amada FO3015 4000W) all I have cut is mild steel so far but the problem I have is when it starts a cut the assist gas...
Thanks alot, I will give it a try when I have a chance. I think I will hire out my 1 inch thick stuff for the bigger jobs and hopefully I can get it cutting well enough to do my prototype parts in house. Thanks again.
Ok I might attempt again cutting one inch again then. I am using a 4.0 double nozzle WACs off. I think this was possibly my last settings when I gave up E3 was boing used to cut the 1 inch diameter holes: 10 inch per minute 4000 watts 1000 freq 85 duty gas 0.04 E4 was 15 feed rate 100 duty all...
I have spent many hours trying to tune this machine to cut one inch thick mild steel with no luck. It might very well be operator though as I am quite new to operating a laser. I have had the machine cutting 3/4 inch very well though. I must have cut about 200 one inch diameter holes, well tried...
This might be a dumb question but when looking at the edge page how do I know what condition number it is using, none of the highlight in green like on the other cut condition pages. There is 201-205 to choose from the top two have 0 for work angle 3000 for power and the bottom three have 170...
Thanks guys, I am ordering that retrofit kit for the 4063 alarm. The other night I cut an entire program that included two big parts that I have been having trouble with and it cut everything great. I would say that it worked because I left the center cover on the back of the resonator unit off...
out of frustration I shut the water off on the WACS and just have air blowing through it and it seem that now I have good pierces more often than bad ones, once and a while I will still get a blow out. Other than Amada where is a good place to look for someone I can hire to come for a day or two...
I increased the time to watch it better and what it looks like to me is the pierce is completely through then it blows up. so maybe a setting in the actual cut conditions?
I am cutting 3/4 plate, and have some questions about how the WACS head is actually supposed to work, I have it working but once and a while it seems that maybe the water screws up the Z-Tracking???? I do have a very fine mist spraying out, possibly I can turn the flow down a little tiny bit...
