Hello everybody,
Even though I have checked the ASME B16.11 i could not understand the pressure rating in bars for Class 3000 SA 105 threaded coupling.
Can you help me?
Hello everybody for instance, now i am designing a demo vessel for the first time. while designing the lug(SA 516 Gr. 70) should i take allowable stress which is 138 MPa for material and applied it as allowable bending, shear, compression, tension?
Thanks a lot everyone specially littleinch, i will be careful what you say when i post something :) . I am new in this forum and in industry you were very helpful thanks a lot again. now it is time to chat with my supervisor :)
I also emailed to zdas04 i ve sent you all too. This is what client wants. I thought that it is 7 inch nominal if i am wrong please let me know thankshttp://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=c5a09be1-493a-4b7f-825d-b7d230cac004&file=elbow.jpg
Seamless is a dealbreaker here. our client will use them in a piping line while chatting with their inspector he told me that smoothness is very important for this project. I could also remember that from fluid mechanics. But, when i told him it is impossible to find he replied, italy, germany...
I have problem with finding the 7 inch elbow, it must be seamless. could you please name a local vendor in your country or could you please give me some advice for manufacturing it properly.
Thanks
Hello everybody, i asked to find a suitable way for normalizing A283c steel plates. I thought that critical temp + 50 C, which is 780-850 degrees celsius, for 1 hour will be enough. No specification was given on purchase order. Is 780-850 C for 1 hour enough?
