This problem came back. I cannot remember how I resolved it last time. There were no solutions offered here.
Again, using Ctrl+C (or its equivalents using the DraftSight provided icons, right mouse click menu...)I cannot copy an object to the clipboard.
I get the following message...

On one of my drawings, I ended up with two dots that I cannot delete.
I had to move everything except these tiny dots to a new layer, and hid and made it unprintable.

Selected everything I wanted to copy with Ctrl+A
Used Ctrl+C
I got an error message in the Command Window down below:
"Cannot create temp file,
