while designing a tall pressure column I came across a situation to use stiffener rings. As a cost optimization approach I was trying to use the internal rings provided for placing packing trays as my internal stiffener ring. Is there anything wrong with my approach?

Can we design a flat head cylindrical tank through Pv-Elite?
Because for atmospheric tank design pressure will be one bara while in Pv-Elite min pressure to be entered is 1 Barg.

dear XL83NL Thanks for your reply but it didn't short out my problem. I understand your concern but this is client requirement. They wont accept our design if we follow some other specification or engineering . Finally u need to take deviation costing more time and money.
