I m mechanical designer, now i m facing some problem in designing a sawing machine for a aeroplane body. The body is very hard to cut which using material of carbone composit with 38~40 mm thickness. The material size is very long which is 6 meter long.

I want to design a industrial blower which is about 60 inches in diameter. Did any expert know about engineering calculation such as motor sizing, metal thickness and blower running speed in maximun RPM??? any software to do the calculation???

thanks PLCSAVVY, The PLC i use to link with VB is OMRON. Actually i done the VB program to communicate with the omron PLC already. The only problem i faced is i can't catch the data by some timing. ( I means may be 2 second to read the data one time). I only can send and receive the data...
