Dear Experts
what is the formula for calculating Hydraulic test pressure of Tube bundle constructed as per TEMA R 2007 edition?
Basically I do not have the TEMA R 2007 code at the moment but I wonder if the calculation is the same as ASME VIII UG 99.

Hi guys
a catacarb storage tank was out of service for internal inspection, severe underside corrosion was noted all around the annular ring detected using UT. Full replacement of all annular ring plates is going on at the moment by cutting through the shell and bottom weld and slotting the new...
Hi Experts
I have been evaluating a UT thickness survey report of furnace tubes which were out of service for inspection, I noticed a metal loss due to internal corrosion, the corrosion allowance is not mentioned on the data sheet.
the tube OD size is 8" , the original thickness is 12.7mm.

Yes, it can be done as long as paragraph UW 40 a)8) is met and during the holding period, there shall not be a greater difference than 150°F (83°C) between the highest and lowest temperature throughout the portion of the vessel being heated .Paragraph UCS 56 d)3).
Hello Starships
ASME VIII Div. 1 mandates the vessel to be PWHT if the substance is lethal (UW-2) or due to thickness requirement(UCS-56). therefore , if the vessel was built as per ASME VIII and neither of the above is true, PWHT is not required.
