We used a pre-tested pipe to replace small things like a spool piece. No need to re-test the spool piece as long as evidence of test on pipe is present and acceptable by customer.
I do hope he worded that wrong.
Unfortunately in this day in age, some are rewarded by "finishing" the project ahead of schedule or on time. Some using sketchy means to do it.
It was a very hard decision to up and leave a very well paid job and not have another lined up. But everything happens for a reason, found a better paying job that respects my experience. Thanks for the compliments, just doing what was right.

At the time this was happening I was getting conflicting numbers from the PM in charge. I was never able to speak with the customers engineer in charge of the job.
I resigned 2 weeks after this thread was started. The test did happen with no incidents the week after I posted...
Because of the time I was given to do this test. I told my superiors (VP of the company) that I will have no part in this test. They have a third party company that will be doing the test.

My main concern is the time to "engineer" this pneumatic test.
I am no way an engineer but I know my profession and from being involved in them before, i know its something you just don't decide to do overnight.
Reason for Pneumatic test is lack of space for 32 frac tanks.
Of course cost plays...
