How are most of you in the utilities industry detecting vegetation encroachment on your transmission lines? Are you using satellite imagery? LiDAR surveys? People in trucks?? How often do you do it - per NERC standards or more/less often? Im also curious if those of you in subtropical climates...

I've been trying to research how the height/displacement is measured in a railway car, between the bogie and the cab. Is there a suspension between the two? If so, is the height of that measured in a closed loop fashion in real time?
