    My 2 cents... I use a 16-button puck with a 3x5" tablet. Each button (aside from the 'pick' and right-click buttons) can bring up any of four commands, depending on whether the shift or control keys are held down - a total of 56 commands. I also use about 30 1- or 2-character keyboard...
