I am facing a big problem in our Alloy 20 piping in the sulfuric acid system ( 98%).
This is a new system commissioned few months ago , I am experiencing many leaks due to erosion . The max velocity as per design is 0.2 mt/sec. so what do you think is the problem
we are building a new chemical plants , we have received and installed the PSVs. Now almost 2 years passed and we did not commission the unit . Do you think I have to bring all the PSVs down for retesting and recalibration or there is no need.

While preparing a tender specification for the fabrication/supply of a pressure vessel, it is mentioned in the tender specification that the vessel shall be designed to say European, Japanese, in-house code. Can we still include in the same specification that the vessel shall be ASME stamped.
