The sections are symmetrical, but not equal to eachother. A sweep doensn't work if the path is not cylindrical?
I'm still not able to do this.
I have no experience with surface modeling.

We draw our furniture in 3D and I want to make a ground-plan for a trade fair with all the top views of our furniture.

I want to create a parts list in draft environment and add the weights of the parts and the assembly in total.
That works fine for me when i add a column mass. The mass shows up in the column and for the total assembly.

I have an issue with pasting a 3D view from a model into a 2D view.
My ex-collegue has done that and when you open the 2D model you can see in the layer tab that there are layers with the name "Drawing View".
These layers contains the 3D view that can be updated if out of date.
