    Thank you JStephen Thats the one!! I will use use one piece of P1/G1 and weld it to one piece of P1/G2 it should qualify all groups up to and including Group 5. Thanks again T653

If I was to use 2 plates of G40.21-44WT for the coupon and qualify with bends, tensile, impact and hardness tests would that procedure qualify for all materials in table 4b up to and including group 5.
