There are constraints in the sub assemblies some of which are fixed. There are none at the top level. Do they propogate up the heirarchy?
Thanks

Am thinking there's probably a simple answer to this.
Have an assembly with a few subassemblies and no constraints. I try to move them to see what I'm doing. Some move okay, but the others give me a 'you are trying to move a fixed component' message before allowing movement. Trying to think of...
And in the midst of checking this out I found the 'Show only' option. If you select the components you want to keep either in the navigator or on the screen then do a RMB and show only (show and hide then show only in Navigator) and it keeps just the selected components.
Thanks! - Now if we could just get them to move it to the assembly navigator, so that there would be an option to do it under the right mouse button that would be great!
Is there an 'invert selection' option in Assembly Navigator? i.e if I want to hide everything apart from one instance, can I select the one instance, select a magic invert button and hide everything else? I can see an option for it under command finder but it says that its only available in...
I know this has been sort of covered with a drafting option - but am wondering if it might be possible to do it in Assembly. I have an assembly of 5 pieces. I would like to do a section cut of the first 4 but leave the last piece as a solid representation. In other words I would like to omit the...
