    Basically went in asked the class if they actuslly had an idea first on what a static beam was . Where might they find them . Then moved through the lesson like that slide show on different types of beam etc got them to answer what type of beam was in the picture ... Then on to shapes of beams...

    Cheers racoock that's a great reply as I am great full for all the others . My main tsar is to write down a 2 hour lesson plan on how to teach 16 year old first year apprentices who know nothing about beams .... I myself have forgotten a lot and need to refresh on the calculations as my main...
