On NX 11 one of our guys changed the file association to notepad by mistake. now our right click menu doesn't work for in-mm conversion

I thought that I did this before but I can't remember. When adding something out of the Metric library (ie a false body) but putting it into an inch file, I get the file is wrong units error.
Is there a setting so I can add Metric items to an inch file from the reuse library?

When I put a hole table in my drawing it recognizes the holes and puts a diameter and a cb and a depth. Is there a way to recognize as a screw hole or a dowel hole and put in the appropriate fallout notes to go with it?

Just looking at the way you mentioned getting a number out of the partname in the post above, which is closed now. I was wondering if you could explain if there is a way to pull this number from a text file that resides on your computer instead of the current part you are in...
I tried that Tim but to access those wave tools I need a wave license, which i don't have, must be in the advanced assembly license

We design in inch but have to (unfortunately) put dual dimensions with tolerance on the print
When I activate the dual it has 2 boxes for tolerance (plus and minus)
whatever you put in here shows up when you add the dual
Is there a way to make the tolerance update when you change the main inch...
