Hi,anybody has experience with steel through girder(bent) design? I have a Direct connetor bridge with 4 curved steel girders. And there is a steel girder go through these 4 girders and worked as an interior bent to provide support.
The load is going to be pretty heavy, we want to used bolted...
We were thinking it is one-piece-U-beam because we thought it is a big U beam with diaphram inside the beam. It does looks like it but we will go with one-piece-box-beam now.

This is a project in Asia. Yes, it may be segmental post-tensioned beam. Width of roadway is 65' which means 2 lanes on both direction.
