I have a bunch of parts that were built as 3d surfaces and I would like to convert them to 3D solids so that I can export them out. Any easy ways to do this or do I need to re-create the part from scratch as a 3d Solid?

Thanks C.Fee....unfortunately I am not working with 3D solids. Still looking how to do this with a 3d model built from wireframe objects.

Thanks borgunit. I tried this, but could not get the views to copy over. The border & dimensions from my layout tab would copy over into the model space of the new drawing, but the viewport would be blank. Tried multiple ways of copying/paste (with base point, as block, etc.). I am using AutoCAD...

Is there any easy way to generate a AutoCAD LT 2D drawing from an AutoCAD 3D model. I have the plan & elevation views in my layout tabs, but I need to export these into a 2d file for a AutoCAD LT user.
