    Any good references for foundation deflection design?

    I have a soils report which limits the deflection of the continuous footing to l/240. I have been given the criteria of vertical subgrade modulus of 100 lbs/sq in / in of deflection and 1,000 psf bearing. I have never been given the Subgrade modulus before, not sure of the application.

    Rock Pocket In Cast-in Place Wall

    I have a project where the walls have rock pockets which protrude all the way through the wall. Has anyone had to deal with this type of fix before? What considerations would need to be accounted for?
