Touch-Up of Galvanized A325 TC Bolts
So I'm on a job where all bolted connections are being made with A325 galvanized TC bolts. In the past, I've seen it as common practice to cold galv the ends of the bolts after the spline is snapped. However, I can't find anything in RCSC, AISC, or the site specs requireing that particular touch...- Tremmy

AWS vs ASME thickness ranges for welder qualifications
I'm currently working on a project with a lot of common arc (boilermakers) welders, welding some structural duct work. I'm curious is an ASME qualified welder for 2G, 3G, & 4G positions that has welded a 1/2" cupon using 3 or more passes is automagically allowed to weld unlimited on AWS D1.1...- Tremmy
