    Led conversion and inverter boards

Thanks for the replies. I am located in westchester county, ny, in the city of yonkers. I certainly would be willing to employ an EE to guide me through the initial design, as long as the price is cost effective.

    Led conversion and inverter boards

Hi all, I am trying to figure out how to replace the ccfl backlight with an led strip in an 8 inch LCD screen. I use these screens in ATM machines. Firstly, there is not much space in the screen, so the led strip (white light) would have to be relatively thin. The original screen is powered...

    Force Sensor Probe

Hey, i was able to find something based on your initial reccomendation. I would still appreciate more input, as your experience in these areas.most likely exceeds mine. Iut of curiosity, what is something like this used for? http://ecatalog.mitutoyo.com/Linear-Gage-LGF-Series-542-C1683.aspx

    Force Sensor Probe

Something like that would be optimal, but the problek is sensitivity...those only go as low as 10N; I would need one around the 1N range

    Force Sensor Probe

hello, I am looking for ideas on how to measure the force exerted on biological dialysis tubing (filled with solution and biological materials). Are there any professional systems that would allow be to prod the system and get a force feedback reading? What about home-made systems? something...

    Microscopic pH probe

I have seen research articles producing in-house microscopic pH probes using SIC microscopes as a base. I am looking for a simpler solution...does anyone know of any companies that produce such probes (only being x micrometers in diameter) that could be attached to a conventional light...

    Pressure sensor at the microscale

gruntgury, thank you for the post. It seems like that company may have what i am looking for. I will be in contact with them, and will let you all know the outcome.

    Pressure sensor at the microscale

Ve1BLL, thanks for the advice, but an AFM would have to be heavily modified to suit my needs; but more importantly, I do not have one of those. The principles are there, but I would need to invest a lot of time into making it suitable for my needs, and even finding someone that would allow me to...

    Pressure sensor at the microscale

Hello all, I am looking for a probe that detects force and converts it to a pressure reading. I would be using it for measuring the pressure of single cells of a multicellular organism, at specific points on the cell, So we are talking about a pressure sensor attached to a micro or nano...
