    cfkrl, We also use lathes and yes, for our larger sizes, the cycle times make sense, however, our screw machines will out perform the CNC for smaller parts. I'm wieghing many options at the moment, CNC with a bar feeder is one of them. Thanks for the input.

    I'm looking to set up an automated machining cell which will do the following; -Cut Pipe, Diams 3/8"-8" -Chamfer inside and outside both ends -Thread inside -Stamp part Does anyone know of a machine manufacturer capable of making such a unit?
