Red Diamond Steel Plate - equivalents required.

I'm looking to identify some steel plate known as Red Diamond - it looks like it says either "146" or "14G" after it. Is there modern day an equivalent? I believe it to be a wear resistant plate material from some time ago. Hope someone can help - I've searched the internet but no luck so...

    Copy Paste problems in Autocad

No - I didn't apply the patch as the version of the current file was more recent. Yes you can insert it as a block into a new drawing - this is one way I've found to get around it. Thanks for your thoughts.

OK - not sure if I follow all of the above, but I've exploded all entities by selecting everything, then did it again. After this, I'm able to edit copy, edit paste...but I guess this wasy I've lost any block groupings, but at least I'm able to copy!! Many thanks!!

    Copy Paste problems in Autocad

On one certain drawing received from a customer, I am having problems using "Edit, Copy" and "Edit, Paste" to copy parts of this drawing to another. When I perform this action, nothing gets pasted to the new drawing, and indeed won't work within the drawing in question either. Is there some...

    Autocad plotting problems

Many thanks Geronimo - another Autocad command burried deep in the system....you either know it or you don't I guess - I would not even have thought to look for such a variable! I've set the variable to 0, so this should cure all future problems. Many thanks for this. - a big help!

    Autocad plotting problems

Thanks ActiveSolar05 - I think you may be right with the max number of characters, but even with the server\drive\path\directiory\filename.ext the characters were nowhere near 256, but probably easily in excess of 100 characters. I guess there must be some upper limit and I must have just been...

    Autocad plotting problems

Thanks TCarpenter1 - I have done the service pack thing, but this made no difference. What I have discovered was the directory structure I was working in had folder names and file names with quite long descriptions. When I rename them to make them shorter, I don't have the problem. It's almost...

    Autocad plotting problems

In Autocad 2007, I seem to have problems when plotting a drawing off our network - it usually crashes the program. with a fatal error message and fails to plot. However, if I save the drawing to my c: drive before I plot, then it will plot OK and no errors. I feel it might be something to do...
