Hi, I m trying to understand Bldg Seismic Effective Weight, BSEW, on a small 1 car garage 10x20x9'ht.
I watched several YouTube videos and still unsure.

1. In ASD calculation, that BSEW is the weight of the roof (15psf x 200sf) plus all perimeter walla weight (20+10)x2 x9ft ht...
