Thanks for reply,
Is it a practical to clean the probe and return it back to the system? , if not what is the optimum way to eliminate the negative readings.
Corrosion is two electrochemical reactions (anodic and Cathodic) on metal surface when immersed in common electrolytes (water, soil, solution, acid … etc.).
Due to many reasons one portion of metal surface will transfer electrons during the metal body to another. The first portion will be anode...
Dear All,
Electrical spark at loss connection between negative terminal and structure shell during the first time operating impressed current CP system is one of most risky situation. Therefore safety precaution must be obeyed, also it's highly recommended to disconnect CP system during...
In any contact between zinc and aluminum if the aluminum is small relatively to Zinc and in presence of common electrolyte (water or soil) Aluminum will start to corrode.
In your condition apparently Aluminum are larger than zinc-plated area there so applying same coat to both side will help.
Dear All,
As the output frequency of the TR is a first indication of the rectification, single phase TR shows 100 Hz for full wave rectification. I'd like to ask if any body have an idea about output frequency of three phases TR.

I’ve got different references related to internal corrosion of pipeline which confused me, is anybody would help me to find proper internal corrosion bench marks including the following:
Co2 corrosive partial pressure and concentration
H2S corrosive partial pressure and concentration
Chloride...
Dose any body have idea about the effects of grounding rod (copper) on Cp system for storage tank, and if the negative cable of the tank shell returns a desired amount of the current why the potential of the tank doesn’t drop to the protection level
I'd like to ask what is the reason of self-changing the transformer rectifier output (current).
My system was working on 35 Amperes and after one month it's self change to 60 amperes.
Anybody have suggestion ?
Dear VPL
First I have great honor for your reply and thanks a lot for your advice. Second I’d like to ask you about the best branch of nuclear knowledge that you prefer for examples (hydraulics, neurotics, radiation applications, nuclear materials...etc) then I will be so happy when you are...
Hello
I'm a nuclear engineer I had graduated from three month ago and
I have not got career yet and I’m preparing to start studying master in my field. Actually I don’t know what I will do and which branch I must study, I feel my knowledge it’s enough to make me able to work in nuclear field...
