Water Volume in an Closed Loop System

Hey, Yeah I did actually calculated all my pipes volume... but wanted to check it with google values as well. I dont think I can do straight line lenght calculations for the coils (its have over 100 bends). So I added everything as you said. Thanks

Water Volume in an Closed Loop System

Thanks for info, For calculating the expansion vessel volume I would need to know how much volume of water is actually is in my loop. Is it only a factor of pipe capacity?? So pipes total lenght and thereby total volume capacity? I know the volumetric flow rate (per hour) but since its a loop...

Water Volume in an Closed Loop System

Hi all, I was wondering how to calculate the required volume in a hot-water closed loop. Interested to know how much volume of water will be necessary to fill the system and also to calculate volumetric expansions. Thanks

What's the modulus of elasticity (or wave speed) of liquid sulphur?

Hi Everyone, I had came across a similar post a while ago by: " hacksaw (Mechanical) 25 Jan 03 15:18 the velocity in liquid sulfur is a tough nut to crack, but here is some meaningful data, coutesy of J.K. Olsen http://www.physics.utah.edu/%7Ejared/aps4c2002.pdf" "for those without adobe...
