Does an 10ft opening on non-loadbearing ICF wall require a lintel with stirrup like a concrete beam or just a rebar ?
By the following Ontario building code, it seems just a rebar reinforcing. However, on ICF manufacture's manual, Lintel tables do not show that it is for loadbearing...
I'm looking at concrete post-pouring strip between house's footing and garage' footing. How wide is this strip should be? What's the detail looking like? Thanks.
