I am looking for feedback from users on frequency of preventative overhaul of TTVs (Gimpel and others). Manufacturer recommendation is for overhaul on ~5yr interval, to ensure valve condition will allow function if required to trip machine. Are you performing overhaul on this interval?
Oil carry over past the coalesced could be caused by damage to the coalescing elements or mounting, high process gas temperatures, or due to design issues with the separator vessel. We inspect coalescing elements on regular basis, with unit TA, to verify condition.
