    Desalter PSV Sizing

i would strongly advice to check for the fire case as krsmani77 has suggested. further please note that the discharge will be a hot two phase mixture and needs a knock out drum with some residence time to flash off the gases thanks ukn

    Fluid Velocity In Pipeline

qazx i would add that there is a criteria in API 14E mainly for hydrocarbon fluids on erosion velocity. Its velocity= C/SqRoot(density) density in lb/ft3 and velocity in ft/sec. C is a constant, value 100 for continous service and 120 to 150 for discontinous service ukn

    Aboveground storage tank piping

sir i would not recommend to support the pipe from the tank. it should be supported independently after doing proper stress analysis. further check velocity of the fluid thru the inlet nozzle at the tank -should not be higher than the usual recommnded values. most important-take the inlet pipe...

Two phase flow in gas pipelines and Matcad

sir/madam i can tell u that matlab or mathcad will not do any flash calculation or model the complex 2 phase flow directly. Your best choice would be one of the process simulators like PIPEPHASE, PROII, HYSIS or others with similar features. hope you have access to one of them -best of luck...
